Urgent Activation | Pediatrics

The Arizona Department of Health Services has partnered with Arizona REACH to offer a temporary transfer coordination hub for any Arizona hospital facilities seeking assistance with placing pediatric patients under the age of 18. This service is a voluntary, free, and 24/7 service for transferring pediatric patients with acute medical needs. Receiving facilities will be attempted based on guidance from the sending facility provider. This service became available for use on December 13, 2022 and remained active until April 30, 2023. To utilize this service, pediatric transfer requests can be initiated by calling Arizona REACH at (877) 787-4329.
