Urgent Activation: Pediatric Transfers

The Arizona Department of Health Services has partnered with AZ REACH to offer a temporary transfer coordination hub for any Arizona hospital seeking assistance with placing pediatric patients under the age of 18. This voluntary, free service is available 24/7 for pediatric patients with acute medical needs. AZ REACH will contact receiving facilities based on guidance from the referring hospital’s practitioner. This service became available on Dec. 13, 2022, and remained active until April 30, 2023.
