AZ REACH Program Expands with STEP!
A Statewide Transfer Escalation Pathway for Arizona hospitals with 20 or fewer beds.
We are thrilled to share this exciting news with you. The AZ REACH program has expanded its services to benefit more Arizonans. The Arizona Senate approved funds to extend our program’s reach to any Arizona hospital with 20 or fewer licensed beds.
Introducing the Statewide Transfer Escalation Pathway (STEP). Now, hospitals with 20 or fewer inpatient beds, who were not already part of REACH, can seek our assistance after exhausting their usual transfer options.
Important Details:
- Go-live date: October 1, 2023
- Newly eligible referring hospitals: Exceptional Healthcare Yuma, Exceptional Healthcare Maricopa, Exceptional Healthcare Bullhead City (opening soon), East Valley ER & Hospital, Tucson ER & Hospital
